# SQ. FT. ORDER IN INCREMENTS OF 15, 30, 45 ETC.

SHIPPING INSPECTION - Please inspect your turf package carefully before accepting delivery from the shipping carrier. If you see tears in the plastic packaging, make sure the turf is not damaged. If the turf is torn, do not accept and tell the shipper you are rejecting due to shipping damage, otherwise you will pay return shipping cost. Turf is very heavy and costly to ship.
How to Compare Grass
Quality is best with higher grass blade height and density (total blade weight in a square yard, measured in ounces.)
INSTALLATION - cut any existing grass with a weed eater to the soil. Remove debris. Install 2" of gravel screenings, meaning your gravel supplier has passed gravel through a 3/8" screen so only the smallest pieces pass through. This mix has small particles as well as gravel up to 3/8" and every size in between. You'll need about 12 pounds of gravel per square foot. Smooth it with a water-filled roller or plate compactor. Roll turf out, stake the outside edges every 12" with landscape spikes if your soil is sandy. For hard clay soil, use 20 penny galvanized nails every 18". Pour 1/2" of sand between blades and rake them so they stand straight. You'll need about 3 pounds of sand per square foot. For details click: Instructions.
