The diagram shows how to turn a slope into a level area for putting green installation.

Excavate dirt on the high side of the slope, and move it to the low side.
Install a retaining wall (brick or stone) to keep the high side from eroding downhill.
Install a retaining wall on the low side to keep fill dirt from washing away.

  We are working on one for Spring 2020. No help now but we do have a cut and fill diagram in the directions top row of site. We sell the real ball pull markers you see on real practice greens. Enamel painted cast iron heads, fiberglass shaft, and ABS plastic base.

Can a green be trimmed to fit a irregular border?

  Yes. You use a new blade on a box cutter razor knife and cut form the back if possible. A silver sharpie is a big help.
